The entire collection is handmade from sustainable materials by seasoned artisans in the United States. Showrooms: Design 528 is sold exclusively through design showrooms worldwide. All showroom contracts are currently in negotiation and not for public disclosure until installation of vignettes in the spring of 2014.

Manufacturing process: Each piece is hand crafted from a sustainable with exotic wood veneer applied to the surface by state of the art machinery. The pieces are then assembled and detailed by highly skilled artisans which makes this collection the best of modern and craftsman techniques.
Anita Lang is the CEO of Design 528 and the founder and principal designer at IMI Design Studio. As a full-service interior design studio and showroom, IMI Design Studio (www.imidesignstudio.com) offers a range of services for both residential and commercial clients—from remodeling to new construction.
Anita founded IMI Design Studio in 1990. Because of her ability to understand and meet the needs of architects and builders she incorporated practical aspects of design-build integration giving her firm a distinctive edge. With presence in Arizona and California, IMI Design Studio has completed projects that have been featured in number of publications including Phoenix Home Magazine, Home by Design, Prime Living, Arizona Republic, Uptown Magazine and many others. Anita Lang’s work has also been showcased locally on upscale lifestyle television programs including Cool House on Fox 10, Sonoran Living, and she is a monthly “design expert” featured on AZ-TV’s Pat McMahon’s Morning Scramble Show.
Anita is an Allied ASID member, a certified California Interior Designer, regular contributor for the media, and a frequent public speaker on topics ranging incorporating fine art into interior design to environmentally conscious design and sustainable design elements. She maintains memberships in many design and professional organizations, contributing her time and expertise and keeping up on the latest in trend-setting design. She also supports many local community causes. In 2006 Anita launched the annual “Inspire” design contest, in which interior design students compete to win a scholarship and paid internship. In 2013, Lang’s team took on a massive renovation of the Foundation for Blind Children. Her work and designing for the visually impaired children has been featured in the Arizona Republic, Go Gilbert Magazine, KTAR Radio and on KTVK-TV Arizona Family.
