Today was held the press conference of presentation of Sharing Design at the Alessi room of Palazzo Marino with the Counselor of Design and Productive Activities of the City of Milan Cristina Tajani, Cesare Castelli President of Milano Makers and Rodrigo Rodriquez President of Material ConneXion Italia.
Rodriquez commented on the participation of Material ConneXion Italia in Sharing Design: “I admit I didn’t know enough about the reality of the Makers, until a few months ago in San Francisco when I met Chris Anderson who told me about his latest book ‘Makers. The return of the producers’. The former editor of Wired explained to me that the movement of the makers is recovering human creativity at the center of the production process.
Material ConneXion is pleased to participate in this initiative because its goal is to serve the project by creating the contact between materials manufacturers and end users. The makers are better than all those who can grasp the potential offered by new materials in the service of creativity.”Sharing Design Fabbrica del Vapore – Cattedrale Via Procaccini 4, 20154 Milano From Tuesday 8 to Sunday 13, 11am – 12pm
